Bremen airport (IATA: BRE) is located in the south-west of the town and offers flights from/to most bigger German cities and some European destinations. It’s easily accessible by public transport (tram no. 6).
The ZMT is located at the Bremen University campus in the northern part of Bremen.
Tram no. 6 in direction “Universität” offers a direct connection from Bremen International Airport (about 30 minutes) and the central railway station (15 minutes). The tram no. 6 stops at „Universität Zentralbereich“. From there it is only 500m along the red line, see map 1.
The tickets for the tram is available inside the tram at the ticket machine. The price for one ticket is: 2,75 Euro, just coins and small bank notes (5 € and 10 €) will be accepted.
For the Welcome reception turn right into the „Wiener Strasse“ until No. 7 “Haus der Dokumente”, top floor, the entrance is at the left side of the building.
For the Guided Tour through Bremen City, on Monday, 08:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.:
Meeting point is Market Square/Statue of Roland. Take the Tram No. 6 in direction “Flughafen”. Leave the tram at station “Domsheide” (from “Universität/Zentralbereich” this is after 20 Minutes, from the Central Train Station this is after 6 Minutes.) From here is a 250 m walk around the corner, just in direction of the Cathedral of Bremen and the Town Hall.
